VA Technology Adds Capacity to its Ohio Facility
VA Technology is pleased to have completed its latest round of upgrades to its manufacturing site in Solon, Ohio (USA). The manufacturing site has been overhauled and capability expanded with the addition of a brand-new control panel assembly bay, as well as expanded spare parts inventory. A large shell system assembly bay allows us to build a shell system in its entirety for full-scale testing and customer approvals.
This development is in line with the company’s localised strategy. VA Technology has seen a growth in the demand for automated shellroom equipment particularly over the last five years in North America. This comes at a time when companies are becoming more aware of Industry 4.0. More and more companies are keen to manufacture in smarter and more efficient ways – and our technology allows them to do so. We have designed our equipment to operate manually or automatically to give flexibility to our customers. Our shellroom equipment can be connected to a process management system, known as IC-Crystal, allowing automated controls and data recording for real-time decision-making. Our equipment can also be coupled to advanced sensors to collect and analyse data for enhanced productivity and agility.
