Cerramix – Batch
High precision and control, designed for optimum mixing of ceramic-based slurry.
Our Cerramix batch mixer is manufactured from fibreglass and mild steel. This mixer is engineered for efficient mixing with a hemi-spherical base and tapering sides. The clever design allows for easy cleaning and minimises the risk of contamination.
The Cerramix batch mixer is powered by a variable frequency drive unit to allow precise control. The total mix process cycle is achieved by the press of a button. A pivoting bracket allows the mixer to be easily raised and lowered. The mixer can be used for a variety of processes – high shear/dispersion and for stabilising or hold mixing of slurry.

Cerramix – Continuous
Designed for optimum mixing, with both the mixer and tank spinning.
The mixing system combines the HD or DD series slurry tank with the EV power mixing unit. Cerramix continuous mixer is powered by a variable frequency drive unit to allow precise control. The total mix process cycle is achieved by the press of a button. Our Cerramix continuous mixer is designed with a pivoting bracket allowing the mixer to be easily raised and lowered. The mix station can be supplied with various control types.

Power Mixers
Range of direct drive mixers designed to ensure even and consistent mixing.
Our mixing impellers are available in stainless steel, investment cast, or heavy-duty plastic, and are all engineered for maximum effectiveness with minimum power input.
Direct drive, multi-pole motors are fitted as standard for in-built ruggedness and reliable operation, enabling various mix speeds without the need for reduction gearboxes. An optional variable speed control unit provides a flexible speed range.
Our mixers offer high shear, high flow, or gentle stirring of slurry, depending on your requirements.

Mixer Controls
DIRECT ON LINE (DOL): Fixed speed control for simple start and stop of the mixing system.
TYPE 1 CONTROL: A variable frequency drive allows analogue control of acceleration, deceleration and mixer speed via a potentiometer located on the front of the panel. A safety lock prevents the rotation of the propeller unless the mixer is in a lowered position.
TYPE 2 CONTROL: A variable frequency drive allows programmable digital control of acceleration, deceleration and mixer. The Type 2 control system allows the mixer to change between two pre-set values, allowing a sawtooth profile of the speeds. Features include simple on/off operation and programmable timed cycles. An auto mode sequence enables controlled mixing sequences, and a safety lock prevents rotation of the propeller unless the mixer is in a lowered position.
All of our control panels are contained in an enclosed cabinet that can be freestanding or attached to the mixer frame or wall. Designed for durability, they feature a pressed mild steel frame, incorporating rubber-protected splash-resistant application buttons, heavy-duty ABS variation dials and long-life LED indicator lights.
