Engineering Manager, Justas Vaitkevicius, shares his experience. “Joining VA Technology as a Design Engineer: Controls, I initially focused on supporting our engineering and control panel assembly teams. Over the years, this role evolved into leading our team of Design Engineers as Engineering Manager. Working closely with manufacturing teams, I’ve played a key part in the development, manufacture, and assembly of specialised shellroom systems, with each individually designed to meet the unique demands of investment casting foundries.”

As more investment casting foundries transition to automation within the shellrooms, I’ve had the opportunity to contribute to these forward-thinking initiatives, gaining valuable exposure to diverse industries and applications,” said Justas Vaitkevicius.

Justas recently spent time at our new site, VA Technology STS, to support the assembly of a multi-cell shellroom system featuring specialised components. “This hands-on experience allows me to collaborate with our highly-skilled team, share knowledge, and drive innovation. It’s a rewarding journey, both professionally and personally,” said Justas Vaitkevicius, Engineering Manager.
