2024: END OF YEAR REVIEW

This year has marked significant growth for VA Technology, driven by our commitment to delivering robust shellroom systems. By strategically investing in our capabilities, we have supported the increasing demand for our shell-making equipment while ensuring the highest standards of quality throughout the manufacturing process. Our dedication to quality ensures that our customers receive reliable equipment for their investment casting processes.

VA Technology has invested £350k in enhancing our fabrication this year. With over 20 fabrication bays and a highly-skilled team of metalworkers and fabricators, we oversee the entire manufacturing process, from design to production, ensuring that every piece of equipment we build is robust and reliable. Advanced fabrication technologies enable us to create high-quality, customised products that meet exact specifications, reduce production errors, and allow for seamless on-site installation.

“This year, we have significantly enhanced our fabrication capabilities, appointed new manufacturing leaders, and increased our system build capacity. It is remarkable to witness VA Technology’s continued commitment to investing in our capacity to deliver bespoke shellroom systems for our customers. Having the ability to design and manufacture equipment under one roof allows us to make necessary adjustments to suit our customers’ needs,” said Rebecca Cooper, Director of Operations.

The investment does not stop at capabilities. Investing time and cross-site collaboration between our global teams has driven the successful completion of projects. Recently, Justus Vaitkevicius, our Engineering Manager from VA Technology USA, has dedicated several weeks to overseeing system builds for our USA customers. This cross-site collaboration is essential, fostering teamwork and the exchange of technical knowledge. Furthermore, VA Technology remains committed to supporting apprenticeship schemes. We have welcomed an additional four apprentices this year, and our second-year apprentices are now onsite, making valuable contributions to our team.

We have completed 730 service days this year. Our service visits include thorough functional testing of system components, equipment run tests, safety checks, preventative maintenance, and more. Alongside this, our customer support team has delivered many training programs this year to equip maintenance teams and engineers with the skills needed to operate our shellroom equipment confidently.
