2023 Year in Review
This has been another busy year for VA Technology. The company has expanded its team of manufacturing, engineering, and customer support personnel to meet the growing demand for our shellroom systems. We have welcomed over 50 new employees to our team worldwide.
In addition to this, we have upgraded the infrastructure of our USA site. Located in Solon (Ohio), VA Technology USA facility now includes a control panel assembly division. This additional capacity enables the company to manufacture control panels for our shellroom equipment in the USA; to better serve our customers in North America. This latest investment was driven by the growth in shellroom systems installed for aerospace, commercial, and medical devices manufacturers across the region.
VA Technology China has continued to support customers across the region with service visits and system support. During this past year, we installed numerous shell system projects. Among these projects was upgrading the capacity of a Chinese aerospace customer. Our team installed and commissioned two shellroom systems, purposely built to achieve high-quality investment casting required for aerospace components.
“We understand the importance of providing the support and guidance to help our customers achieve their production goals. We encourage ongoing collaboration to understand their investment casting needs and goals, which can help to inform of possible, future upgrades. In this case, we recently installed two additional robotic shelllroom systems for our customer to increase the investment casting throughput,” said Youcai Sang, General Manager of VA Technology China.
This year, we have completed 750 contracted service days. Our service visits include thorough functional testing of system components, equipment run tests, safety checks, preventative maintenance, and much more. We offer training programs in our UK and US training facilities to train maintenance teams and engineers with our equipment. Each program is tailored so our customers can leave confident they can use our shellroom systems.
