Slurry tanks are manufactured from stainless steel with a mild steel support structure. Standard sizes are as follows: 600mm-1600mm (24”-63”) diameter; 600mm-1300mm (24”-51”) depth. We can custom manufacture alternative sizes to meet your production needs.
Our DD slurry tanks feature a direct-on-line starter and isolator control unit as standard, contained in a robust housing, and pre-wired to allow easy installation in the shellroom. DD slurry tanks are equipped with a variable speed control unit as standard for precise control of rotational speed. DD slurry tanks also contain an externally mounted gearbox to further reduce heat transfer. Our standard sizes are as follows: 600mm-1200mm (24”-47”) diameter; 600mm-1000mm (24”-39”) depth. DD slurry tanks can be manufactured in alternative sizes to meet your production needs.
A slurry dosing system provides an efficient solution for the replenishing of slurry tanks with a consistent amount of liquid material.
The material silo can be conveniently filled at floor level and then lifted into position on the support stand, or a sand elevator can be utilised to replenish the material silo from floor level. The binder is held in stainless steel or plastic containers either attached directly to the slurry tank or supported on a separate structure. The liquid is pumped to the slurry tank utilising an integrated metering pump unit. Various control options are available for process-integrated systems.
