class='avia_textblock'  itemprop=\"text\" ><p><strong>Job Purpose:<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Working within the Engineering department to complete test and validation of VA Technology systems and equipment, both at VA Technology and worldwide customer locations, and the development of control software.<\/p>\n<p>Reporting to Engineering Manager<\/p>\n<p><strong>Duties &amp; Responsibilities:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Test and validation of VA systems and equipment at VA Technology and worldwide customer locations<\/li>\n<li>Commissioning of VA system and equipment, including:<br \/>\n\u2219 System software commissioning &amp; generation (Robot AS, PLC and Kepware code)<br \/>\n\u2219 System fault finding and diagnostics<br \/>\n\u2219 Fault rectification<br \/>\n\u2219 Conducting system wide test and inspection<br \/>\n\u2219 Set-up of in-house system software and industrial PCs<\/li>\n<li>Conduct customer training<\/li>\n<li>Conduct system servicing<\/li>\n<li>Development of Robot and PLC software<\/li>\n<li>Modification of engineering drawings to support system build and to improve quality<\/li>\n<li>Writing procedures and plans<\/li>\n<li>Completion of technical documentation including test plans and training modules<\/li>\n<li>Remote customer support &#8211; fault finding and diagnostics<\/li>\n<li>Be familiar with Risk Assessment and typical Health and Safety issues in the workplace<\/li>\n<li>Operate within company procedures<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Essential Skills &amp; Experience:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Ability to read and understand mechanical and electrical technical drawings.<\/li>\n<li>\u2018Hands-on\u2019 experience in building electrical and mechanical equipment<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Qualifications:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Degree or technically qualified to BEng \/ HNC in an electrical discipline or equivalent work experience<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Key Attributes:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Professional manner with good communication skills<\/li>\n<li>Able to represent the company to a high standard<\/li>\n<li>Flexible manner to adopt new challenges and input from peers and colleagues<\/li>\n<li>Self-driven for progressive and continued learning and development<\/li>\n<li>Keen to accept
